World’s Largest Swimming Lesson at the Camarillo Y

I recently was invited to head down the Camarillo, CA to take some images of an event they were holding.  On June 18th facilities all over the country were holding “The World’s Largest Swimming Lesson”.  The event helps to build awareness about the importance of teaching children about water safety, how to swim, and helps to prevent drowning.  Starting at 10am, the lesson began, and lasted for one half hour, with children taking to the pool in several groups to learn.

We had fun, I got a little wet, and we all worked together at breaking a Guinness World Record. Taking pictures to document history….always a good time.
